Ava has been a Session Director for Commercial Casting Sessions for almost 15 years now. She's been an Actor for even longer than that!

In her long career Ava has seen over 10,000+ auditions and knows both the big and small elements that go into a successful audition. She loves commercials and loves helping actors discover their voice in the audition process.

​

Over the past decade, Ava has worked for most Casting Directors and Casting Studios in LA including: Elevator Casting, RMB, McBride Casting, Deming Casting, Dan Bell, Clockwork Casting, ASG, JaneDoe, Spot Casting, Pop Casting, Tiffany Company, DB Casting, Ocean Park, 200 South, 5th Street, Larchmont Studios and many many more!

As an Actor, some of the brands Ava has enjoyed working with include: Progressive, AT&T, KFC, McDonalds, Dunkin' Donuts, UPS, Samsung, Honeywell, etc.

Ava has also had the privilege of teaching Actors how to improve their commercial auditions through the SAG Conservatory workshops, Judy Kain's Keep It Real Acting School, and her own Ava's Commercial Booking Class.

 

She has spent the last decade and a half gaining an immense amount of knowledge about the commercial industry. It makes Ava so happy when she can pass it along to other actors; so they can find their success even faster!

Kadyr has been acting professionally for 15 years and directing sessions for 10. Throughout the past decade he's worked with some of the most sought after Directors in the entertainment industry; helping cast many major commercial campaigns. Among them: multiple Super Bowl commercials, 2 soccer World Cup international promos, as well as spots for some of the most relevant brands in the US and around the globe (Apple, Coca-Cola, McDonalds, Disney, Arri, Microsoft, Lexus, Lufthansa, Gatorade, and the list goes on). 

 

Given Kadyr's extensive work in the Spanish market, as well, he’s positioned himself as one of the "go to" bilingual Session Directors in town. This has allowed him to work with both English and Spanish speaking talent and directors; both in LA and in other markets. This has put Kadyr in a privileged position when it comes to helping and coaching actors. He has a strong understanding of what different producers, clients and directors expect from talent - in both language markets.

Kelsey has been a Commercial Casting Associate since 2016. You’ve seen her at Ocean Park Casting, 200 South, and Envision Studios working for Casting Companies like Elevator, Deming Casting, McBride Casting, RMB, Joe Blake, Cathi Carlton, Stuart Stone, Lisa Fields, Tiffany Company, and Jeff Rosenman to name a few.

 

Her job sometimes includes: working with ad agency clients and releasing breakdowns for their projects, sorting through the headshot submissions to help decide who to call in for specific roles, watching actor self-tapes (and picking the top choices to show the Director), dealing with agents and sometimes deciding whether you can have a timeframe or not. Kelsey is often in the room with the ad agency, director, and producers when they’re talking about you after the callback. She’s there rooting for you and sending your Avail Request at the end of the night.

 

Kelsey loves actors! She has an eye for talent and truly enjoys helping connect people to the right jobs. She is happy to be a part of so many people’s acting journey.

 

As an actor herself, with a background in comedy, Kelsey has studied at Lesly Kahn Studios, UCB, The Groundlings, and has her BFA in Acting from Marymount Manhattan College. Recently she’s booked National Commercials for Amazon Prime, TJ Maxx, and Walgreens.

 

Kelsey lives in Santa Monica with her dog Mr.Kelcy and her cat Olive - who you may have seen sleeping behind her shoulder during a Zoom Audition. 

Like most session directors, Dave is also an actor. He's been a member of SAG-AFTRA since 1993 and has been in over 103 national commercials, a few television shows, and movies. He has also directed commercial spots for his director's reel and short-form dance films that have circulated in festivals internationally. 

 

When he directs casting sessions, he aims to make actors feel welcomed and supported and assist them in delivering their best performance in the brief time they have together. 

 

Dave has over 15 years experience as a session director. Some of the casting directors he's worked with are Ross Lacy Casting, Spot Casting, Petite Casting, Gabrielle Schary Casting, Orange Street Casting, Ava Shevitt, Mary Ruth Casting, Jeff Rosenman Casting,

ASG, Shane, a Casting Company, Bad Girls Casting, Bill Bailey, Kathy Knowles, Katie Taylor, Craig Colvin. and the recently retired Dowd/Roman Casting. 

 

Pre-pandemic Dave was one of the teachers at Ross Lacy and Alyson Horns, The Commercial Class, taught at 200 South.

 

His most recent and favorite casting experience was directing the casting sessions and multiple callbacks to cast Bill Glass as "Dr. Rick" in the popular and hilarious Progressive commercials directed by Martin Granger.

 

When he's not working, he's at home with his wife, two kids, and a dog. He surfs, swims, and jumps rope to stay fit and keep up with his young children.
