Behind The Scenes: Role of a Commercial Agent

We are so excited to welcome one of the busiest Commercial Agents working in Los Angeles today! Mark Park is a long time commercial agent over at Stewart Talent. He is kind, funny, and always going the extra mile for his clients. He is passionate about comedy and can often be found at a Groundlings show or the like. He has years of behind the scenes knowledge to share. He is looking forward to meeting all of you for an in-depth conversation about the entertainment industry.

This event is not intended for members to pitch themselves for new representation. Its purpose is to learn more about the role of a Commercial Agent. How they impact your acting careers. The best ways to develop strong, positive relationships with your representation. And anything else you've always wondered about the process but never had the opportunity to ask, from an Agent's point of view. It will be a round table style discussion where we learn, connect, and get the inside scoop on a part of the commercial world we don't usually have full access to.

As always, this is a private event, only open to members. Please do not use this as an opportunity to solicit representation. You are all rep'ed and the Commercial Club respects the relationships you have built with your agents. Bio:

Mark Park is a Senior Commercial Agent and Head of the Commercial Department at Stewart Talent LA, where he's been since 2015. He brings experience from nearly a decade in his previous role as a Talent Agent at Wilhelmina International, LW1. Prior to agenting, Mark worked as a commercial casting director in both NY and LA at his own office Mark Park Casting, as well as at Lien Cowan Casting and Donna Deseta Casting. He holds a BS in Film Production from Emerson College . His robust skill set includes Film, Comedy, Feature Films, Film Production, Commercials and more (see brilliant self-portrait being used in place of a picture).
