Behind The Scenes: Role of a Commercial Agent

We are so excited to welcome one of the busiest Commercial Agents working in Los Angeles today! Garrett Hershey is a long time commercial agent over at Danny Hoff. He is hip, wise, and always going the extra mile for his clients. He is passionate about guiding actors and has a wealth of knowledge to share. He is looking forward to meeting all of you for an in-depth conversation about the entertainment industry.

This event is not intended for members to pitch themselves for new representation. Its purpose is to learn more about the role of a Commercial Agent. How they impact your acting careers. The best ways to develop strong, positive relationships with your representation. And anything else you've always wondered about the process but never had the opportunity to ask, from an Agent's point of view. It will be a round table style discussion where we learn, connect, and get the inside scoop on a part of the commercial world we don't usually have full access to.

As always, this is a private event, only open to members. Please do not use this as an opportunity to solicit representation. You are all rep'ed and the Commercial Club respects the relationships you have built with your agents. Bio:

Joining the Daniel Hoff Agency in 2009, Garrett now oversees the commercial division. He loves creating opportunities for talent to make their dreams come true and he echoes the sentiments of so many others at DHA that embrace the family atmosphere, as well as the fast-paced nature of the industry.  Garrett also holds the distinct honor of being nominated as “Agent of the Year” for the 2022 Heller Awards and he currently lives in Woodland Hills with his fiancé and 2-year-old son.
