You're already familiar with our two ongoing series: and . This month we'd like to introduce our newest series: Conversations with a Casting DirectorCallback with a Commercial DirectorBehind The Scenes (of Making a Commercial).

We will have conversations with industry professionals in different areas of the commercial making process. The purpose is to gain insight on the specifics of their job, how they impact the commercial process as a whole, and how their role directly impacts actors. It takes a village, as they say, and we should be familiar with every member of our community.

This month we are so excited to speak with Arleen Flowers.  Arleen is an Emmy winning (Beauty and the Beast live) Costume Designer for television shows such as , The Oscars, as well as numerous commercials. She is super excited to chat with you more about what she does, how she tries to make you look good, and how you can help make each other's lives easier.The Masked Singer

This is a private event, only open to members. It will be a small enough group to allow for a round table style discussion. This is your chance to connect and ask questions of someone with which we rarely get to converse. A good costume designer can make you look like the hero, the villain, or like you aren't even in the room so let's all welcome her with open arms (or else, haha!)

Bio:

Arleen is a Los Angeles based Costume Designer of more than 15 yrs,  who started out as a dancer choreographer, making her way to teaching children about movement and eventually landing in wardrobe, one of her true passions. Beginning as an assistant, she's had the pleasure of working on a multitude of projects, including Television, film and live shows; such as The Oscars for the past 4 years (yes she was involved in that John Cena moment) Beauty and the Beast live (Emmy winner), Lazarus, Minute to win it, This Fool, The Masked singer (Emmy nominated) The Descendant movies and more.
