BEACH DAY July In-Person Club Hang

Time for another GOOD TIME hanging with your fellow Club Members and Club Coaches...and this time we're going to Perry's Beach Cafe at...well...THE BEACH!

If you havent been to a Perry's Cafe before, it's a super chill beach spot that has beach chairs and umbrellas, sand, sunshine, coffee, food, AND alcohol. Any level of beach attire or casual clothing is totally acceptable. There are several Perry's locations, we will be posted up at the one located just off of Hollister at 2400 Ocean Front Walk. Look for the red beach umbrellas. 

This spot is excellent for getting some sun, snacks, and having a mid-afternoon cocktail in a can (they arent a full bar, but if you want a white claw, beer, wine, canned cocktail or a frozen pina colada - you're in luck!). We'll be just off the beach-beach located at the Perry's which is on the walking/bike path, but grab a buddy if you feel like running down to jump in the water or toss a football on the beach side of the path. No need to bring any coolers or chairs or umbrellas or anything like that since we'll be at the cafe.  They arent keen about bringing in outside food or drinks (water is of course ok!), so dont plan a picnic. 

DONT FORGET THE SUNSCREEN and do bring a towel if you're planning on going down to the water at any point.

If you're new to the Club, Club Hangs are an informal, chill gathering where Club Members Club Members past, present, and future can socialize and get to know each other a little better and continue to grow our community.

You're totally invited to bring a friend or two or a significant other-  but, most importantly, bring yourself! Let's hang out, have a good time, and continue to get to know everyone a little more.

PARKING INFO:

Hollister Beach Lot

The best place to park is in the Beach Lot just off of Ocean and Hollister. Turn left after you pull in to the lot for All Day Parking and pay at the Pay Station. This lot is a $10 flat rate and closes at 8pm. The Perry's is located in this lot, this is the closest place to find parking.

If you turn right after you pull in to this lot, it is Short Term Parking for $1/hr with a 2 hr max. So only park on that side if you are planning on just a quick hello.

Other places to park:

*Meters on Ocean Ave are 5hr parking btwn 9-6pm and $2.50/hr

*Bicknell Beach Lot is a little further, but still a good bet. Just try to park as far left as possible after pulling in. This lot is also a $10 flat rate and you pay the booth when you pull in. This lot is open Sunrise to Sunset.

*There is a Pay Station Lot located on Hollister between Neilson and Main that has a 4hr Max on Sat/Sun til 5pm and you should be fine there after 5pm. It's $1.25/hr 

*The Community Garden Lot on Main/Strand is a 12hr Pay Station Lot at $1.25/hour. It is a pretty small lot, but people dont usually think to park there. Its not super close, but just a short walk to the Perry's.

*I'm so sorry, all of the side street parking between Neilson and Ocean is gonna be NO PARKING except for permits. Dont waste your time looking there. If you really dont want to pay for parking, and dont mind a bit of a walk, anything in the neighborhood east of Main Street will be 2hr parking until 6pm when it becomes permit. BUT you CAN find free all day non-permit parking on 4th St around Strand/Hollister near Hotchkiss Park. Its probably then about a 10 minute walk from there.
