Luckily for us, one of our fellow Club Members, Jaclynn Cherry, is a CPA (Certified Public Accountant.) She’s been preparing taxes and answering financial questions for actors of all shapes and sizes for the better part of a decade.

Turns out, a lot of actors leave money on the table during tax time by not knowing how to navigate the system. Also, if you think you’re a seasoned pro, there have been a lot of tax law changes in the last five years. A refresher might be in order.

This is an amzaing opportunity to finally demystify the world of taxes and really focus on the Actor's point of view. So, join us for an intimate and indepth chat about all things accounting, for a walk through of the process, and to get your questions answered by someone who knows what’s up!

Bio:

After working for three years in public accounting on a wide variety of audit and tax clients, and four years working in nonprofit accounting, Jaclynn Cherry realized it was time to pursue what she had always wanted to - help people!  As someone who enjoys accounting and taxes, she hopes to help those who do not enjoy accounting and taxes. Her goal is to make finances as approachable or hands-off as you would like, all at an affordable rate.

Jaclynn also a professional actor/improvisor, Board Treasurer for the Detroit Improv Collective (which produces the annual Detroit Improv Festival), an avid skier, surfer, and racquetball player, and a baker who watches too much Food Network.
